Teaching Philosophy
As many people, you might think that musical talents are rare. But they are not. They are very often just simply overlooked, undeveloped, and unfulfilled. We are all born with the desire to make music.
Playing the piano is inspiring, relaxing, enriching, and rewarding experience that helps you expresses your feelings, emotions, dreams, and fantasies at any age. The sense of personal satisfaction and pleasure that comes from playing the piano just gets better as your musical technique develops with time.
Even if playing the piano is not the ultimate goal you have for your child, the basic skills and techniques learned from piano lessons will develop useful experiences in many areas of life.
With a piano lessons, children achieve new skills and open a new world of options and opportunities that enrich their lives. Learning to play piano develops the abstract thinking, problem-solving, time management, and listening skills of children as well as add to the child's confidence and self-esteem.
It demands a lot of discipline, patience, and tedious work of practicing, but when the experience is positive it will result in a lifetime of enjoyment and appreciation of good music. As many others hard and persistent work it develops a "CAN DO!" attitude. Learning to play piano is also a lot of fun. Ability to play piano, make and hear music offer long lasting rewards.
I have a deep passion for music and this is the reason why my goal is to help young people discover their love for the piano.
I try to maintain a warm-hearted spirit in my studio so that as we learn and work together, there is a feeling of support and motivation for each student.
I hope that each one of you pursues your musical interests in the way that will make you most happy. And I am sure it will be an enjoyable and motivating experience. Music is inside every one of us, all we have to do is believe in ourselves and have the dedication!
